The Richwood Story
Originally a thriving lumber town, Richwood was known for its Cherry and other hardwoods. Coal mining followed lumber as the main source of income for residents, but when the coal industry hit hard times, the entire region suffered.
Now the residents of Richwood are working to rebuild their community. A partnership of churches formed to build the community center and fund the local Young Life Ministry.
Through this partnership was born the idea to create a business to be run by Christian leaders that will employ Richwood residents while supporting the local Young Life Ministry.
